The Importance of Seatbelts

In June 1988, We [Karen and Rachel] stopped at the mailbox to mail a letter I took Rachel's seatbelt off so Rachel could mail the letter. Afterward we didn't put the seatbelt back on because we were just "going around the corner." We had to stop quick because a truck ran through a stop light and Rachel flew into the dashboard. SHe got a bruised cheek and a couple of little cuts on her chin and nose, but a month later, her lower front (her right) tooth began turning purple. the dentist said we shouldn't do anything because it will come out and be replaced with a permanent one soon anyway.
